Our love story started like many modern ones — with a swipe on Bumble in the summer of 2023. Our first date was a classic dinner and a movie. There were a few nerves, but mostly laughter throughout the night. From that evening on, it felt like something real was beginning to take shape.
At first glance, you’d probably say we’re opposites — and you’d be right. Mike is level-headed, chill, and composed. Ludnie is bold, expressive, and never afraid to make an entrance. But what brought us together, and what continues to ground us, is our shared love of good conversation, new experiences, and meaningful connections. Our dynamic is one of balance — where spontaneity meets intention, quiet meets passion, and their differences deepen their bond. Think of Yin/Yang or in Korean culture, Taegeuk.
One unforgettable moment came when Mike surprised Ludnie with a trip to New York to see Wicked on Broadway — a show she had always dreamed of seeing. It was thoughtful, magical, and completely unexpected. That trip wasn’t just about theater; it was about love unfolding in real time. Somewhere between the city lights and the drive home, the first “I love you’s” were said and their love story was starting to take shape.
On Christmas Eve 2024, Mike dropped to one knee and proposed in the heart of Lisbon, at the stunning Miradouro das Portas do Sol. Ludnie had a feeling something was coming — but she didn’t know when. In true Ludnie fashion, her first response, caught on video, was a surprised “Are you being dead serious?” But the moment was very real — and everything she had ever hoped for: romantic, meaningful, and completely unforgettable.
We’ve grown so much as individuals and as a couple. Coming from different worlds hasn’t always been easy, but it’s made our bond that much stronger. We’ve chosen each other every step of the way — and now, we can’t wait to begin this next chapter, surrounded by the people we love, building a life filled with laughter, adventure, and deep, lasting love.
