Wedding Day: Formal attire for the ceremony and reception. Think elegant dresses, suits or tuxedos. See more on the “Dress Code” page. We can’t wait to see you dressed up!
Travel will be provided to and from the wedding venue for guests staying at hotels within our hotel blocks (Meliã Braga Hotel & Spa and Holiday Inn Braga).

The closest airport is Porto (OPO). You can also fly into Lisbon (LIS) and take a train from there. See more information under the “Travel and Accomodation” tab regarding other airport and transportation details.
If you would like to attend the welcome party, arrive no later than Thursday, November 5th. Otherwise, please arrive no later than Friday, November 6th to celebrate our wedding.
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony time to ensure you’re seated and ready for the wedding!
The ceremony will be indoors, but there will be an outdoor cake cutting ceremony, weather permitting.
Expect it to be in the high 50’s to low 60’s (Farenheit). November is the start of rainy season for northern Portugal. Dress accordingly and check the forecast closer to the day.

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. For those of you that will be bringing children, please be sure to watch them closely.
To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venue’s capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You’ll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one, on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Transportation will be provided from the reception to one of the hotels we have arranged.
If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, it will automatically be marked a “NO”. We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!
